Pick-Up Time
You will be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 PM in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle for the 3-hour drive (220 km) to Mount Sinai and St. Catherine Monastery.

Climbing Moses Mountain
Start your climb to the summit of Mount Sinai at 1:00 AM. The journey takes approximately 6 hours, with a descent at 7:00 AM. The climb to the top offers a chance to witness the stunning sunrise from the peak at 2,285 meters. You can go two-thirds of the way on camelback, with the final third of the climb being on foot (700 steps). Remember to bring a torch, wear sensible and comfortable walking shoes, and pack warm clothing, especially in winter.

St. Catherine Monastery
Visit the historic St. Catherine Monastery, which opens at 8:45 AM. This Orthodox Greek monastery is renowned for its rich religious and historical significance, housing one of the oldest and most valuable collections of icons in Egypt. Among its treasures are works by renowned artists like Angelo and Michael Damaskenos.
