The Straits of Tiran are a stunning waterway that separates the Sinai Peninsula from the Arabian Peninsula, forming a gateway between the Gulf of Aqaba and the Red Sea. Just 13 km wide, these crystal-clear waters are home to vibrant coral reefs, diverse marine life, and mesmerizing underwater landscapes, making it a top destination for snorkelers and divers alike.

Program Overview:

Pick-up Time:

You will be picked up from your hotel at around 08:00 AM and driven for approximately 30 minutes to the marina. After a quick security check with your passport, you’re ready to set sail.

Snorkeling Gear:

You can rent snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, and life vest) at the port, or bring your own gear if you prefer.

Sailing to Tiran Island:

The journey to Tiran Island begins at 9:30 AM, with a 1.5-hour sail to the first stop. On the way, keep an eye out for the local pod of dolphins – a breathtaking sight for all! You will make 2-3 stops for snorkeling at famous coral reefs: Gordon, Woodhouse, Thomas, and Jackson (named after British cartographers).

Your guide will provide tips for snorkeling, safety instructions, and highlight what you can expect to see underwater at each stop.

Diving (Intro Dive Included in Tour):

Intro Dive (15 minutes, 5-8 meters deep) – Included in the price of the tour.
For those interested in deeper dives, additional options are available for licensed divers.

Lunch:

Relax and enjoy a delicious buffet lunch on board, featuring chicken, kofta, rice, pasta, salads, Bedouin bread, and occasionally freshly caught fish. Soft drinks are also included.
