This reserve is located at the confluence of the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba.
The eastern edge of Ras Mohammed Reserve represents a rock wall with the waters of the Gulf in which there are coral reefs.
There is also a channel of rare mangrove trees about 250 meters long.
The Ras Mohammed area is characterized by coral beaches found in the sea, colorful fish, endangered sea turtles, and rare aquatic life.
Coral reefs surround Ras Mohammed on all its marine sides and form a unique formation, as this formation has a major impact on shaping natural life in the region. Many landslides and earthquakes also occurred in the formation of water caves at the bottom of the reserve.
The reserve is also home to many important birds and animals
