Tiran Island is an Egyptian island originally handed over to Saudi Arabia in 2016 and is now under Egyptian administration.

Tiran Island is an island temporarily under Egyptian administration until its handover to Saudi Arabia is announced. It is uninhabited and is located at the entrance to the Strait of Tiran, which separates the Gulf of Aqaba from the Red Sea

There are many diving and snorkeling sites and many shipwrecks near Tiran Island.
